More than one way to say hello

BonBon had the immense pleasure of collaborating with SignHow, an organisation that stands at the forefront of enriching understandings of sign language. SignHow is dedicated to promoting sign language as a complex, multi-lingual mode of communication utilised by over 70 million deaf individuals worldwide.

We were privileged to support Sophie and Nikhil with the successful launch of SignHow’s inaugural signing party at Brisbane Powerhouse. The event saw 45 enthusiastic participants come together to record an impressive 1,000 signs over the course of two days. This remarkable achievement underscores the dedication and passion of both the SignHow team and the participants in promoting sign language. The event not only showcased the vibrant community of sign language users but also highlighted the potential for future initiatives aimed at expanding the reach and impact of sign language education.
